During the ceremony, which was presided over by Koehler, U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Joe Cahill relieved U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Brendan McLane as commander, Naval Surface Forces, and commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP).
