Several U.S. Army soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are engaged in what appears to be a medical training exercise. One soldier facing away from the camera is holding surgical scissors/forceps while another soldier on the right wears purple medical gloves, suggesting a hands-on medical or combat casualty care training session. The setting appears to be an indoor training environment with camouflage netting visible in the background.

    Blanchfield Army Community Hospital

Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Education and Staff Development team recently conducted Delayed Evacuation Casualty Management (DECM) training for medics from the 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team and BACH. The hands-on training reinforces the skills needed to provide prolonged casualty care when evacuation is delayed or resources are limited.

By building confidence and strengthening lifesaving capabilities, this training helps ensure our medical teams are prepared to deliver exceptional care whenever and wherever it’s needed.
