A U.S. Marine presents the Medal of Honor to be posthumously presented on behalf of Marine Corps Col. John Ripley during a Medal of Honor award ceremony at the White House, Washington, D.C., June 18, 2026. During the ceremony, Trump also awarded the Medal of Honor to retired U.S. Marine Corps Maj. James Capers and U.S. Army Maj. Nicholas Dockery. The presentation to Col.
