NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (June 17, 2026) - Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), addresses the crew of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106), before presenting the ship with the Battle Efficiency, known as the Battle "E" award, June 17. The crew received the honor after their recent return to homeport following a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations. The mission of CNSP is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
