NORFOLK, Va. (June 11, 2026) Rear Adm. Neil Koprowski, center, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO (ESG 2), Quartermaster 2nd Class Elizabeth Oliver, assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), and Wasp’s leadership have a luncheon in the flag mess during a ship visit, June 11, 2026. Oliver was selected as the “Stinger of the Week,” for her outstanding work as the lead petty officer of the navigation department. The U.S. Navy’s east coast lead for amphibious operations and expertise, ESG 2 provides timely, operational, amphibious expertise in support of national tasking to sustain maritime security and defense of the nation.
