KINGS BAY, Ga. (June 5, 2026) – A child puts his rocket building skills to the test as other children watch while at the pneumatic rocket launch station during the annual “Young Minds at Work (YMAW)” event at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, June 5. YMAW is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) event hosted by Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) and Lockheed Martin, and provides interactive learning experiences for children of military and civilian employees in grades K-12. SWFLANT is one of two sites responsible for the Navy’s strategic assets.
