BREMERTON, Wash. (Feb. 24, 2026) -- Drew Dickey, rigger Code 740 Riggers, inserts wedges for ex-USS Norfolk’s (SSN 714) sail to rest on as it's lowered onto a flatbed trailer Feb. 24, 2026, at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bremerton, Washington. The sail and fairwater planes from ex-Norfolk were loaded onto long-haul trucks at PSNS & IMF for transportation to the submarine's namesake city of Norfolk, Virginia, where they will be refurbished and put on public display.
