U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class David Burr, an infantry platoon sergeant assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 126th Infantry Regiment, operated as the drone navigator and confirmed the flight plan as Spc. Aleksandr Blain donned his control goggles in preparation for the strike. The navigator role is critical to ensuring unmanned aerial systems reach targets accurately and safely.
