Four Maine Army National Guard Soldiers took the Oath of Allegiance and officially became United States citizens during a naturalization ceremony held June 5, 2026, at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field office in South Portland, Maine. Already serving their adopted nation in uniform, these Soldiers marked a significant milestone by affirming their commitment to the United States through citizenship. Their dedication reflects the strength and diversity of the force and the enduring values of service, loyalty and patriotism.
