Lt. Gen. Robert D. Harter, chief of Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, presides over the 412th Theater Engineer Command change of command ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, June 6, 2026. During the ceremony, Maj. Gen. Matthew S. Warne relinquished command of the 412th TEC to Maj. Gen. Kent J. Lightner, formally transferring responsibility and authority for one of the U.S. Army Reserve’s premier engineer organizations. The event brought together Soldiers, civilian teammates, family members and distinguished guests to recognize Warne’s leadership and welcome Lightner as the command’s new commanding general.
