U.S. Air Force Capt. Omar Gonzaga, a Cyberspace Operations Officer and flight commander with the 265th Combat Communications Squadron, receives the 2026 Company Grade Officer Outstanding Airman of the Year award at Joint Force Headquarters, Augusta, Maine, June 7th, 2026. During his 11-year tenure with the Maine Air National Guard, Gonzaga has led three Agile Combat Employment missions and organized emergency communication services during domestic disasters, resulting in successful missions and positive evaluations for his team.
