U.S. Soldiers with the 1440th Firefighting Tactical Group, Michigan Army National Guard rest between stages of a modified Combat Water Survival Training (CWST) at Camp Grayling, Mich., May 29, 2026. The modified CWST verified the Soldiers ability to swim and tread water unassisted prior to participating in further water training scheduled during this year’s State Annual Training.
