SAN DIEGO (May 21, 2026) - Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, delivers remarks during a San Diego Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps Commissioning Ceremony at the USS Midway Museum May 21, 2026. During the ceremony, 20 Navy and nine Marine Corps graduates received their commissions and took their oaths of office. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
