James Seabrook and Valkyrie Roa, of the Vogelweh Gospel Service Choir, performed the National Anthem during the Wereth 11 Memorial Observance on May 9 in Wereth, Belgium. This tribute honored the memory and sacrifice of the 11 African American soldiers of the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion who were captured, tortured, and killed by Nazi forces during the Battle of the Bulge.
