Arnaud Michels (l) and Jan Felten (r), BSTI students, spoke during the Wereth 11 Memorial Observance on May 9 in Wereth, honoring the sacrifice of Pvt. First Class George Davis and Tech. Cpl. Robert Green. The ceremony commemorated the lives and legacy of the 11 African American Soldiers of the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion who were captured, tortured and murdered by Nazi forces during Battle of the Bulge.
