Austin Nations, the commander of Alpha Company, Combat Logistic Battalion 5, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, demonstrates an event during a field meet at Robertson Barracks, Darwin, Australia, March 26, 2026. In honor of the patron saint of engineers, St. Patrick, CLB-5 hosted a field meet with the Australian Defence Force to strengthen the cohesion and bond between both services through shared physical challenges that enhance readiness and lethality. MRF-D is a six-month forward deployment in Australia that strengthens combined interoperability with the ADF and provides rapid crisis-response options for the joint force across the Indo-Pacific.
