SAN DIEGO (April 29, 2026) – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidates wait to meet with Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) nursing hiring representatives during a civilian hiring event held at Laurus College. CNAs, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Licensed Practical Nurses saw a highly successful 74% conversion rate from attendance to tentative job offers during the rapid hiring initiative. The mission of NMCSD is to optimize health and enhance readiness.
