Shelly McCarter, Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Gastroenterology Department head, speaks with a candidate during a civilian hiring event held at Laurus College. Department heads and hiring managers conducted on-site interviews throughout the day to recruit top talent for roles directly supporting NMCSD's strategic capability expansions. The mission of NMCSD is to optimize health and enhance readiness.
