    PACIFIC OCEAN (April 29, 2026) – U.S. Navy Hull Maintenance Technician Fireman Nicholas Teal, assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), uses an oxygen and acetylene torch to conduct maintenance on a pipe, April 29, 2026. Theodore Roosevelt, flagship of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9, is underway in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operation conducting advanced training to bolster strike group readiness and capability.
