U.S. Marines assigned to the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force prepare to extract a notional casualty from a simulated subway explosion during a training exercise at Guardian Centers in Perry, Georgia, March 27, 2026. During the week-long training, Marines enhanced their ability to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats through realistic, scenario-based exercises focused on reconnaissance, decontamination and casualty rescue.
