KABUL, Afghanistan -- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District administrative specialist Lorrie Lloyd of Fallon, NV watches fellow colleagues light candles representing those who perished at the World Trade Center twin towers, the Pentagon and on a grassy field in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked passenger planes using them as weapons against the U.S. The district held a twilight 9-11 Remembrance ceremony and Freedom Walk in solidarity with colleagues who began a Freedom walk half a world away in Washington, D.C.
