U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Christopher Doyon, right, sergeant major of Headquarters
Company, III Marine Support Battalion (MSB), III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), passes
the company guidon to 1st Lt. Jason Santiago, center, incoming commander, Headquarters
Company, during a change of command ceremony at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, April 14,
2026. The ceremony marked the transfer of authority from Gallegos to Santiago. III MSB is a
key part of III MEF’s forward presence in the first island chain. Doyon is a native of Florida,
