260221-N-LR905-1226 NUUK, Greenland (Feb. 21, 2026) – The Royal Danish Navy offshore patrol vessel HDMS VAEDDEREN (F 359) transit toward Nuuk, Greenland, while sailing near Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Delaware (SSN 791). Delaware is operating in the U.S. Naval Forces Northern Command (NAVNORTH) area of operations. NAVNORTH is the maritime component of U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and is responsible for homeland defense, maritime security, and theater security cooperation in the Arctic and North American maritime approaches.
