Nicholas Cole, a flight engineer with 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), scans the environment during an exfiltration mission in Ariz., April 4, 2026. JTF-SB, under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), provides a variety of aerial support to U.S. Border Patrol along the southern border.
