U.S. Army Spc. Devan Bolt, a crew chief, inspects equipment on a CH-47 Chinook helicopter with 3rd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), while in flight near Sierra Vista, Ariz., April 2, 2026. The mission served to exfiltrate Soldiers conducting foot patrols along the southern barrier under JTF-SB, to provide additional manpower and resources to Customs and Border Protection personnel.
