    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (April 2, 2026) Capt. Santico Valenzuela, center, the oncoming commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), Capt. Paul O’Brien, right, the outgoing commanding officer aboard Wasp, and Cmdr.
