An original concept illustration of the master-level Military Freefall Parachutist Badge, designed in 1983 by U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Gregory A. Dailey of 5th Special Forces Group, is displayed. The design features a star encircled by a wreath above the parachute canopy, wings and dagger, representing advanced qualification within military freefall operations. This concept contributed to the final badge approved for wear in 1994. (Photo by Kalani Dailey)
