Alan Flores, recipient of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps scholarship, is presented a ceremonial check during a scholarship presentation at Desert Mirage High School in Thermal, California, March 25, 2026. Flores was awarded a $180,000 scholarship into the NROTC program.
