Lance Cpl. Daniel Trujillo, small arms technician with Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, receives a challenge coin from Lt. Gen. Roger Turner, III Marine Expeditionary Force Commander, for providing outstanding operational support as part of the Korean Marine Exchange Program 26.1 and exercise Freedom Shield 26 in Pohang, Republic of Korea, March 18, 2026. KMEP is a semi-annual exercise that provides opportunities for ROK Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps units to train together, improving their combined capabilities to deter threats and maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
