U.S. Marine Cpl. Rylee Lambert, an engineer equipment operator with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Battalion, receives the Navy Achievement Medal from Lt. Gen. Roger Turner, III Marine Expeditionary Force Commander, for providing outstanding and vital support to operations as part of the Korean Marine Exchange Program 26.1 and exercise Freedom Shield 26 in Pohang, Republic of Korea, March 18, 2026. KMEP is a semi-annual exercise that provides opportunities for ROK Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps units to train together, improving their combined capabilities to deter threats and maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
