260227-N-AT886-1044 PENSACOLA, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2026) Angelia Padget assigned with Navy Medicine and Readiness Training Command (NMRTC) Pensacola, is presented a Good Catch Award by Capt. Frank Axelsen, the commanding officer of NMRTC Pensacola, during an award ceremony at Naval Hospital Pensacola’s command theater on Feb. 27, 2026. Padget was awarded for compassionate and decisive response when a beneficiary experienced acute emotional distress after learning of a loved one’s passing. She quickly ensured the patient’s safety and privacy, escorted her to a secure exam room, remained by her side during the initial stages of grief, and coordinated additional support, with assistance from the Chaplain, ensuring the healthiness of the force and patients.
