    U.S. Space Force Sgt. Nicolas M. Breiding, Delta 2 Signals Intelligence Analysis noncommissioned officer in charge, teaches “3D Printing Basics” during a workshop in the Crucible Innovation Lab at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Feb. 12, 2026. Breiding discussed how 3D printing interacts with the world, how to download objects, the different filament types when making objects, 3D printing equipment and the safety rules and tricks for setting up a successful 3D print. The Crucible, part of the Digital Transformation Office, is an organization focused on promoting digital literacy, technological fluency, embracing new technologies and innovative work methods for Members of Team Vandenberg.
