U.S. Space Force 1st Lt. Katherine Rodriguez, 30th Digital Transformation Office chief of spaceport innovation, delivers an “AI Intro” workshop in the Crucible Innovation Lab at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Feb. 10, 2026. The workshop series provided Guardians and Airmen an opportunity to learn and trial new skills such as prompt engineering and AI-assisted document review. The Crucible, part of the Digital Transformation Office, is an organization focused on promoting digital literacy, technological fluency, embracing new technologies and innovative work methods for Members of Team Vandenberg.
