The Housing Authority of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the last three houses that will complete the build out of the Village West housing development in Shawnee, OK., March 5, 2026.
The USACE, Tulsa District, is supporting the Housing Authority of the Kickapoo Tribe under the Tribal Construction Support Program. Through this program, Tulsa District technical expertise is partnered with Tribal expertise to execute construction project that improve community health as well as social and economic development.
