Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) announces Amjith Sudhakaran, Performance Assessment Representative, at Public Works Department (PWD) Bahrain, as the 2026 4th Quarter Junior Civilian of the Quarter. Mr. Sudhakaran played a vital role as the Performance Assessment Representative for Vertical Transportation Equipment, conducting thorough inspections that yielded zero uncorrected findings. When travel restrictions prevented the certified inspector from participating during two cycles, he worked with NAVFAC safety inspectors and personally completed safety checks for 27 elevators and 5 vehicle lift units. His efforts led to 100% certification and ensured safe, uninterrupted operations. Also, as the command's High Voltage Subject Matter Expert, he made significant contributions to Military Construction projects P964 and P974. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe, Africa, Central supports fleet commanders by providing engineering assessments and agile acquisition strategy, constructing and maintaining shore infrastructure, and maximizing force readiness to enhance warfighter capability.
