U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jonathan Tallman, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, assigned to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, inspects a shot put before a practice iteration, March 4, 2026, at Omar Bradley Park, Fort Bliss, Texas, during the 2026 Army Recovery Care Program’s Army Trials. About 80 wounded, ill and injured active-duty Soldiers and veterans are competing in the following adaptive sports: archery, cycling, field, indoor rowing, powerlifting, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.
