U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District employees touring the Fort Randall dam powerhouse view the new stator casing for unit six on Feb. 25, 2026, in Pickstown, S.D. The new stator casing will be put in alongside a new turbine runner and the refurbished turbine shaft and rotor. The major unit rehabilitation began in August 2025 and has a contract end date of September 2032.
