Illinois Army National Guard Field Artillery Battalion Joins With Community to Give Blood

Nova, an American Pitbull Terrier service dog, was among those visiting the 2nd Battalion, 123rd Field Artillery Regiment at the Illinois Army National Guard's armory in Milan. The 2-123rd Field Artillery hosted a community blood drive with ImpactLife in conjunction with the battalion's annual Periodic Health Assessment on Feb. 21 in Milan. The unit also hosted several service providers that the Soldiers could talk to as they went through the health assessment. (U.S. Army photo by Lt. Col.
