VICENZA, Italy - Maj. Jon Vandeveer, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, (left) one of the participants in the “Artist of the Month,” shows his image “Sforza Castle” on display at the opening night the Java Café and 5:01 Bistro on Caserma Ederle. Images created by five Soldiers from the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program is being showcased there. The event is part of collaboration between the BOSS program and the Ederle Art Center that created a supportive outlet for Soldiers and members of the Vicenza Military Community to display their art. In the upcoming months, the location will be space for a variety of mediums to host rotating displays.
