A flight helmet is staged for U.S. Marine Corps Gen. Eric M. Smith, the 39th Commandant of the Marine Corps, before an F/A-18 Hornet flight at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California Feb. 10, 2026. During Smith’s visit, he toured Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
