PATUXENT RIVER, Maryland (Feb. 5, 2026) - Commandant, Naval District Washington Rear Adm. David Faehnle congratulates NAS Patuxent River Civilian of the Year 2025 Russel Bauer. Bauer, who also serves as a Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician (Technical) in the U.S. Navy Reserve, was recognized for his exceptional service as the NAS Patuxent River Installation Training Officer throughout 2025.
