U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Louis E. Roger, an Inspector Instructor with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, reads Billy Weldon Bell's citation during the ceremonial presentation of his WW II identification tag in Burnet, Texas, Feb. 11, 2026. Bell served during World War II and was injured during his time in service, after which he was sent back to Cypress, Texas. He passed away at the age of 95 on May 31, 2021.
