The Southwestern Power Administration substation at Keystone Dam, hums as it transfers hydroelectric power generated from the Keystone Dam Powerhouse in Sand Springs, Okla., to customers via transmission lines, Jan. 26, 2026. From Jan. 24-26, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District's eight powerhouses generated more than 20.4 Gigawatt hours of electricity to support electric load demand.
