U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Benjamin Catindig, a combat videographer with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, records a simulated tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel during Nansei Sword 26 off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 28, 2026. Nansei Sword 26 is designed to provide realistic training that increases the combat readiness of MAG-36 through exercising communication setup and utilization and providing logistical support throughout dispersed locations.
