A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing lands at a forward arming and refueling point on Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan during Nansei Sword 26 on Jan. 24, 2026. Nansei Sword 26 is designed to provide realistic training that increases the combat readiness of MAG-36 through exercising communication setup and utilization and providing logistical support throughout dispersed locations.
