Members of the Washington Nationals baseball team walk out of a U.S. Air Force C-37 Gulfstream assigned to the 89th Airlift Wing, during a Nationals’ staff visit to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Jan. 15, 2025. The visit to Andrews allowed Nationals’ staff to get a firsthand glimpse into the various units and mission sets here at Joint Base Andrews. The 89th AW executes and provides unmatched global airlift, logistics, aerial port and communications support, enabling the President, Vice President, cabinet officials, combatant commanders and other senior leaders to project U.S. diplomacy and power worldwide as directed by the White House, the Air Force Chief of Staff and Air Mobility Command.
