Aircrew from the 732nd Airlift Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing, observe a U.S. Navy helicopter crew drop a rescue basket down into the water during a water survival training exercise at Naval Air Station Key West, Florida, on January 23, 2026. Survival, evasion, resistance and escape (SERE) specialists from the 514th Operations Support Squadron and the 305th OSS traveled with the 732nd AS to conduct the water survival course. SERE specialists train aircrew how to use equipment that could potentially save their lives during an emergency.
