Chief Warrant Officer 3 Johnny Jenkins pilots an AH‑64E Apache helicopter during his final flight at Katterbach Army Airfield, Germany, Jan. 14. After landing, Jenkins gave a speech to family, friends, and colleagues who met him on the flight line to celebrate the milestone. Jenkins is retiring after 21 years of service, including 11 years as a 15R Apache repairer, nearly a decade as an Apache pilot, 13 years overseas, and three combat deployments with 2nd Battalion, 2-159th Aviation Regiment (Attack).
