Harold Weinbrecht, mayor of Cary, N.C., speaks to the audience and especially to the parents of Spc. Daniel Lucas Elliott during a ceremony to memorialize and renamed the Cary Army Reserve center in his honor. Spc. Elliott was killed in action July 15, 2011 in Basra, Iraq, while deployed with the 805th Military Police Company. "As mayor of this town, I am truly honored to have this facility named after somebody that embodies what it means to give service to everyone else," he said.
