A multinational team of trauma experts from the Trauma Hemostasis Oxygenation Research Network (THOR) delegation observed simulated casualty care and training for medics and Advanced Life Support (ALS) providers at the Israel Defense Force Military Medical Academy on April 10, 2024. The THOR group traveled to Israel to meet with the IDF Surgeon General and medical leadership to exchange lessons learned in combat casualty care and to study the IDF’s medical response during ongoing operations in Gaza.
